Elisa is a practicing Speech and Language Pathologist with over 18+ years of experience. She received her Bachelor and Master’s degree from Southern Connecticut State University. She is certified by the American Speech and Language Hearing Association. She extended her post-graduate education by pursuing certifications in Pediatric and Infant Neuro- Developmental Techniques and Orofacial Myology. She has extensive training in motor-speech disorders, CAS, feeding disorders, and autism spectrum disorder. She has experience working with adults, adolescents and children with a range of physical, neurological and developmental disabilities. She has worked in the medical setting, home-based setting, public school setting in CT, and in private practice.
Elisa is the founder, owner, and clinical director of B.E.S.T (Breathe, Eat, Speak, Think) Speech and Language Therapy LLC. The creation of B.E.S.T was the result of Elisa’s special interests and how they all interplay to create quality of life for each individual. In addition to creating and implementing plans of care for individuals, she conducts comprehensive motor speech and language assessments and provides consultative services for families and school districts. Prior to the fruition of B.E.S.T, Elisa worked under the guidance of Dr. Nancy Schwartz at the communication Clinic of CT for 10+ years.
Elisa’s special interests include feeding/swallowing disorders in adults and pediatrics, oral motor and Oral Placement Therapy, Orofacial myofunctional disorders and myofunctional therapy, working with children diagnosed with motor speech disorders and Autism Spectrum. She is trained in PROMPT, DTTC, Beckman Oral Motor Protocol, Oral Placement Therapy, Pediatric Feeding Therapy, Manual Therapy for Voice/Swallowing Disorders, sensory point taping strategies, and Gestalt Language Processing (GLP). She also has experience with American Sign Language as well as developing communication skills through the customized use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication. Elisa has received numerous ACE awards from ASHA for her extensive continuing education and dedication to learning. She enjoys expanding her learning from a multidisciplinary team which allows her to look at each individual as a whole. She continues to pursue her ongoing learning and is on the certification track through the IAOM (International Association of Orofacial Myology) and is a part of the pre-candidate instructor group for the NDTA (Neuro-Developmental Treatment Association).

Grace is a creative speech and language pathologist who values the importance of teaching speech and language skills through a functional life skills approach.
Grace received her Bachelor and Master’s degree from University of Connecticut and is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She has experience working with young adults, adolescents, and children with a range of physical, neurological, and developmental disabilities.
She has worked in private practice, home-based settings, and public school settings in Connecticut and has been working at B.E.S.T Speech and Language Therapy LLC since 2022.
Her special interests include critical thinking and social-emotional skills within functional language development, working with children on the Autism spectrum, and oral motor disorders.

Stacie is a dedicated and compassionate speech-language pathologist with a strong background in communication sciences. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware and completed her graduate studies at Sacred Heart University.
With experience in both private practice and school settings, Stacie has worked with individuals across a wide range of ages and communication needs. Her clinical experience includes supporting early language development, enhancing speech clarity, and helping clients improve their communication skills.
Stacie has pursued specialized training in pediatric feeding disorders, myofunctional therapy, and childhood apraxia of speech.
Stacie is committed to creating a supportive environment where clients feel empowered to reach their goals. She values collaboration with families and caregivers and tailors each therapy plan to fit the unique strengths and challenges of every client. Stacie is passionate about helping individuals find their voice and communicate.
